Thread Veins

Commonly used to treat and improve:

Sclerotherapy is the treatment for thread veins in the legs and on the face

The process:

This is a simple procedure and no anaesthetic is required. A solution or sclerosing drug is injected at several points along the veins. This causes the vein walls to collapse and the overall appearance is significantly improved resulting in more youthful, smoother looking legs.

You will see a marked improvement in the treated veins. Thicker or clusters of thread veins being treated may not be removed completely in one treatment.

After treatment:

You can normally go about your normal activities after treatment. Compression stockings or dressings may be required to promote healing and help assist with compression of the veins.

It is common to need several treatments every four to six weeks. It is common for people to need two to four sessions
